Gabrielle Dankanich is a Policy Intern at the Vandenberg Coalition. She is also currently a Hamilton National Fellow with the Alexander Hamilton Society. A rising senior at The Catholic University of America, Gabrielle studies world politics and theology, chiefly interested in the complex relationships between the United States, Russia, China, and India. At Catholic University, she serves as the Chairwoman of Young Americans for Freedom, the fastest growing organization on her campus. Gabrielle is also Co-President of Alexander Hamilton Society at Catholic University, which she lead the process of receiving recognition this past spring. Her interest in foreign policy stems from research into the horrors of human trafficking and also from emerging herself in four mission trips to El Salvador.
Focusing on American leadership, human rights, and national security, Gabrielle recently completed an internship for The Heritage Foundation in the Margaret Thatcher Center for Freedom, where she served as the interim program coordinator for her center. Prior to her time with The Heritage Foundation, Gabrielle served as the inaugural intern for Nikki Haley’s Stand for America, where she developed skills in research, development, and political marketing. In her spare time, she enjoys exploring coffee shops around the DMV.
