Hannah Hummelberg is the Director of Government Affairs of the Vandenberg Coalition. She has served in numerous foreign policy and national security roles prior to joining TVC. Originally from California, Hannah moved to Washington and first worked at the National Republican Senatorial Committee. She served on then-Majority Leader of the U.S. Senate Mitch McConnell’s foreign policy team before joining the Trump administration in 2018. She was an Advisor in the Secretary of Homeland Security’s front office and focused primarily on counterterrorism, cyber, and intelligence matters pending before the National Security Council. At the Department, Hannah became the Director of Strategic Communications where she shaped the public rollout of major homeland security policy initiatives.
In 2019, Hannah returned to Capitol Hill and worked as Communications Director and Policy Advisor for national security for a member of the U.S. House of Representatives. During that time, she was a fellow for the Security and Strategy Seminar on China by the Alexander Hamilton Society, the Hertog Foundation, and the Public Interest Fellowship.
She holds a Bachelor’s of Arts degree from Claremont McKenna College in international relations and French, as well as a certificate from the American University Center of Provence.
