The Vandenberg National Security Council (VNSC) brings together the best up-and-coming experts on key foreign policy & national security issues. VNSC members work alongside the Vandenberg staff and senior members of our Advisory Board to ensure that the best thinkers and ideas are connected to the right policy makers at the right time. By contributing to policy documents, advising on their area of expertise, and supporting Vandenberg’s other programs, VNSC members help make the Vandenberg Coalition a one-stop shop for smart conservative perspectives on today’s most pressing foreign policy & national security challenges.Â
The VNSC is organized into regional and functional directorates that mirror the president’s national security council. VNSC members collaborate within and across directorates to develop innovative policy proposals for American national security and hone their expertise in their focus area. By cultivating the next generation of U.S. foreign policy & national security leaders, the Vandenberg Coalition is making a long-term investment in American national security and leadership in the world.
The Vandenberg Coalition launched the VNSC in fall 2023 with directorates focusing on Asia and Latin America. Stay tuned as the VNSC expands to cover new regions and issue areas! Â
