David Milstein has worked in the executive and legislative branches for seven and a half years. As a political appointee in the Trump Administration, David served as Special Assistant to the U.S. Ambassador to Israel, David Friedman, at the U.S. Embassy in Jerusalem. David provided research, expertise, and analysis on policy initiatives that supported and facilitated a stronger than ever U.S.-Israel relationship and historic peace agreements in the Middle East.
David previously served as a Legislative Aide for Senator Ted Cruz (R-TX) working in the U.S. Senate for five and a half years. As part of Cruz’s national security team, David focused on economic and trade policy, and policy initiatives regarding the U.S. and Israel relationship, its linkage throughout the Middle East, and international institutions such as the United Nations and International Criminal Court. David made contributions to a number of provisions especially as it relates to strengthening U.S.-Israel defense cooperation that became law through the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) each year. David received the Endowment for Middle East Truth Young Defender of the Truth Award at its 2016 annual dinner that also honored Members of Congress and other major leaders dedicated to a strong U.S.-Israel alliance.
David graduated with a B.A. in Political Science from Dickinson College where he was a leading voice for conservatism and pro-Israel advocacy. David served two terms as President of the Dickinson College Republicans, and brought prominent speakers to campus, including then-Israeli Ambassador to the United States Michael Oren to campus. David received the prestigious Ronald Reagan College Leaders Scholarship awarded by The Phillips Foundation for two consecutive years recognizing “outstanding young undergraduate student activists for the cause of freedom, American values and constitutional principles.”
