Paul Lettow is deputy chief counsel at the U.S. Chamber Litigation Center, the litigation arm of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce.  Most recently, Lettow was a partner at Jones Day in the Government Regulation practice group, where he focused on litigation, regulatory counseling, and investigations.

Lettow served as Senior Director for Strategic Planning on the National Security Council staff at the White House from 2007-2009.  He previously served at the U.S. Department of State.

Lettow is the author of Ronald Reagan and His Quest to Abolish Nuclear Weapons and Strengthening the Nuclear Nonproliferation Regime, and numerous articles and book chapters.

He served as a law clerk to Chief Judge Danny J. Boggs of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit.

Lettow received a J.D. from Harvard Law School, a D.Phil. in International Relations from Oxford University, and an A.B. in History, summa cum laude, from Princeton University.
